DICE is releasing new higher-performance servers and a new server update. The Battlefield 4 server patch is the 32nd server patch to date. Check out all the changes below.

A few weeks ago community manager Dan Mitre said:

"Looking into this further, we’re unhappy with our server performance, so we’ll be upgrading the hardware as soon as possible, investing more to deliver a better experience."

The new higher performance servers will fix the lag and  rubber-banding issues some players are experiencing on the consoles during matches with 64 players.

R32 Server Update Notes
  • Fix for an issue where the player could get stuck in a loading screen on a server that had an uneven number of slots
  • Fix for the Live Scoreboard that would be active without a game on a server
